The brand new Rocky Mountain RMR Cloud Nine Raft SB-90 has two main air chambers, plus the floor, and comes standard with two removable thwarts. Competing R-2 models often only have one thwart, so this is nice in such a low-cost boat. There are lift handles on each end, and eight D-rings, two of which are on the interior at the bow and stern. We don’t have the exact weight yet, but the length is nine feet, the width is five feet The tubes are 18” diameter, tapering a few inches at the ends. The shape is very similar to Hyside’s classic, popular Mini-Me raft.
RMR Cloud Nine Raft SB-90 Material
The material, as always with RMR boats, is strong, abrasion resistant 2000 denier Rockguard welded pvc. Valves are the new generation Leafield D-7’s, reliable and easy to replace should the need arise. A great little raft to add to your fleet, and one that won’t break the bank. The price is well below many quality tandem inflatable kayaks, and the Cloud can also be rowed solo with a small custom frame – something you cannot do with an i.k.
RMR Cloud Nine Raft SB-90 is going to be the hit of the 2018 river season
